Can you imagine if you wished upon a star, and it was named after you or a loved one? How cool would that be, looking into the clear evening sky and gazing at a star that is named especially for a family member, close friend or significant other? This wish IS possible – it isn’t a dream.

Interesting and Unusual Gifts for Any Occasion

June 11th, 2009

Having a hard time finding gifts that are interesting and unusual? It’s easy to find common gifts that people give every day, but how dull and boring. You want something different, something unique that stands out. You want the recipient of your gift to know that you spent time and thought on them!

Getting a gift that is comical is sometimes a good choice. Comical, and related to a favorite hobby he enjoys!

Is someone you love an Elvis fan? There are all sorts of Elvis memorabilia online. Clocks shaped like guitars, coffee mugs – tons of choices. Think about your friends or loved ones interests and hobbies, and it isn’t quite so hard to come up with a gift that is interesting and unusual.

Why Is Naming a Star for a Loved One So Popular?

June 4th, 2009

The concept of naming a star for someone you love seems to be growing more popular by the day. Why is this? Perhaps because it is such a unique and meaningful way to show someone exactly how much they really mean to you.

People get tired of giving (and receiving) the same old things, year after year. Think about it for a moment. Women tend to get perfume, jewelry, candy and flowers. Men get shirts, ties, socks, perhaps a tool set. Wouldn’t it be nice to give or get a gift that actually surprises you, and is something you never expected in your wildest dreams?

When naming a star for a loved one, of course you don’t take actual possession of a physical star. What you do get is much more personal and meaningful. There is an actual star located in the sky that is named after the recipient, which will remain there for eternity. Most gifts don’t last forever, but this one does!

Father’s Day is Coming Up – Need a Special Gift?

June 2nd, 2009

Fathers Day is one of those holidays that no one knows quite what to get. True, you can get a new shirt or tie for your day, just like every other year. If you want a special gift for your father, why not buy a star in his name?

This is certainly a gift unlike any he has ever received on a previous Fathers Day. It seems that men are more difficult to buy for than women. There just isn’t as much to choose from. Every holiday that comes and goes brings on more shirts, ties, handkerchiefs and cologne. A man only needs so much of these things!

If you consider buying a star for your dad, you will be giving him a gift that lasts forever, and one that will hold a very special meaning to him. When you name a star, it will remain in the sky forever. Each time your father looks up in to the night sky, he will be reminded of the special gift you gave him on his special day. It is a gift that lasts for eternity!
